Hey everyone, pull up a chair, grab your beverage of choice, and lean in for a second, because we need to have a little family meeting.

I want to talk about something we’ve all been told to do since we were old enough to speak: Keep it down. Stay calm. Just look on the bright side!

Raise your hand if you’ve ever felt like absolute exploding, but instead, you took a deep breath, smiled through your teeth, and "intellectualized" your frustration. You know exactly what I mean—that thing where you sit there logically explaining to yourself why you shouldn't be mad, instead of just letting the anger move.

Yeah. I see you. And honestly? We need to talk about why that is complete garbage.

Here is the disruptive truth I need you to hear today: Venting is not the problem. Stifling is.

Society has this obsession with keeping women palatable. We are conditioned to swallow our anger, tuck away our frustration, and tuck in our overwhelm so nobody else has to feel uncomfortable. But let’s look at the science of what actually happens when you swallow that fire. It doesn’t just magically vanish into the ether.

Nope. It converts. It morphs into that rock-hard muscular tension in your shoulders. It turns into inflammation. It shows up as that bone-deep, profound fatigue that a solid eight hours of sleep can’t fix. You aren’t just tired; you are physically exhausted from holding the dam together.

When people come to me for coaching, they often think I’m going to teach them how to be perpetually "grounded" or floating on some serene, zen-like cloud.

Spoiler alert: I don’t.

I don't coach clients to be perfectly placid statues. I coach them to vent constructively so their bodies can finally stop weaponizing unexpressed energy inward. Venting isn't a personality flaw or a loss of control; it is a vital, somatic necessity. Your body literally needs to process the energy out.

So, please, stop choking on your own words. Stop sacrificing your physical well-being just to keep the peace. Raw venting is a physiological requirement, and it’s time we start treating it like one.

Want to dive deeper into how to actually do this without burning your life down? Make sure you join us this Sunday, July 12th, 2026 for the live release where we’re going to shake things up together.

See you there. Bring your real, unfiltered selves.
