Live. On. Purpose.
And so, it begins.
We can officially draw an X through January and say hello to the shortest month of the year: February. Last month was full of so many new things and changes. Some amazing. Some challenging. Nevertheless, the New Year began, and fresh goals, resurrected dreams, and new ideas started swirling. For many of you, January was the month you paused, reflected, and brainstormed your year. You are entering February expectant and driven. For others, January was January. It was just another month of you trying to get a handle on everything. You may be entering February feeling a little behind or off centered.
I get it and it is okay. Wherever you are entering this month, know that you are doing so insanely well.
As I enter February, everything is a bit more settled and structured. But my biggest takeaway from January comes from this phrase:
LIVE ON PURPOSE
You see, it’s easy for all the intention and passion that wells up in January to die down by April (and sometimes by February). And honestly, that’s with anything---be that a new year or a new idea you get. There’s a lot of excitement with the initial moment, but often it fizzes out months later. You know why? Because we aren’t living on purpose. We aren’t being on purpose.
Living on purpose requires of you. It costs you, but it pays off. Living on purpose is you being deliberate with your time, resources, and energy. Living on purpose is honing in your focus and staying true to the course whether your emotions are all in. Living on purpose goes beyond the hype.
This month I encourage you to focus on uncovering this truth of living on purpose. Explore what this means and looks like in various areas. Whether you’ve got your year all planned or are still in process, my hope for you as you go through this month is that you will walk away inspired and empowered to live on purpose and make the most out of your year.
Let’s endeavor to live on purpose together!
With love and hope for all your dreams,
Jennifer J Grove
