There is Beauty in Routines Update…
In July I shared about finding your routine and the beauty of having a ritual and I created a workbook for morning and evening routines. My goal was to start the remainder of the month of July with getting into my routines.
Well right after that blog post the remainder of July and August felt like a never-ending whirlwind. Workdays were longer and preparing and hosting the Gut Health Wellness (re)Treat took a great amount of time and energy. The thought of getting into a routine was honestly the farthest thing from my mind. But today I found resolve.
I realize that life is never going to stop for me to get it perfect or right. Life will keep on doing its thing and I have the choice to either get swept away by it or step up and be powerful and intentional.
This leads me to this point. As this week winds down and I welcome a glorious weekend, I’m choosing to really go after this routine/ritual building.
I must constantly remind myself that the purpose of building a routine or ritual, isn’t to lock myself into a schedule, but to make room for what matters most to and for me. It’s taking time to be intentional about protecting the things I want guarded and cultivating the values I wish to see unfold in my life.
I remember that it matters because I matter and YOU matter.
I shared with you all in July that I created a workbook to help me pinpoint the things I want to do and values I want to protect. The workbook is created to help me visualize what I want and need my routines to look like. It also gives me room to dream up how I want to start and end my day.
Since I’m embarking on this routine journey again, I want to invite you to join in journey! Let’s figure out how to make the most of what’s in front of us together; let’s endeavor to learn how to invest in ourselves on the daily not just once every few months. If you’re interested, you can join the monthly membership to gain access and download your copy of the workbook here. I want to help celebrate with you!
